Earth Hour 2011 Celebration

Earth Hour is an awareness program organized annually since 2007 by WWF. This year, the campaign extends to 'Beyond The Hour' which encourages continuous effort in pursuing a cleaner and safer planet. In Malaysia, the official Earth Hour celebration was held on 26th March at Sunway Pyramid, Petaling Jaya.

Rainforest World Music Festival 2010

KUCHING 11 Julai – Festival Muzik Hutan Hujan Sedunia (RWMF) 2010 yang berlangsung mulai 9 Julai dan berakhir 11 Julai tetap meriah dengan kehadiran kira-kira 5,000 pengunjung meskipun ketika ini demam bola sepak Piala Dunia masih belum lagi berakhir.

Profesional Kolam artist, Mehnaga Mathivanan or, also known as Anjali finishing the art of kolam in order to break the Malaysian Record as a largest kolam in Malaysia here at the concourse area in Berjaya Times Square mall. Kolam is a form of sandpainting that is drawn using rice powder usualy by female members of the family in front of their home.

"Orang Kita" of Cameron Highlands by Ian Ahmad

Minggu lepas saya telah dihantar ke Cameron Highland, Pahang untuk mendokumentasikan penempatan "Orang Kita" yang berpotensi untuk dibangunkan sebagai pusat tarikan pelancong oleh Kemnterian Pelancongan Malaysia. Sepanjang tiga hari di sana, kami telah mendekati dan memahami cara hidup dan aktiviti harian mereka, gambar-gambar yang dirakam ialah di sekitar penempatan mereka di Sunagi Ruil, Sungai Terisu dan Jalan 33, Pahang-Perak.

Some of the locals were seen providing assistance to an unlucky Vietnamese, who was knocked down and robbed by a group of Myanmar refugees , nearby Leboh Pudu, Kuala Lumpur. .

Mr. Pha Mun Tai, a Vietnamese who lives in Pandan Mewah were robbed by a group of four, in an alley nearby. He screamed for help a couple of times before found walking towards a crowd with bleeding on his head.

Local authorities and medical team provided assistance to stabilize Mr. Pha Mun Tai's condition before assisting him to the nearby hospital for further examination.

Battered Refugee

Pha Mun Tai - A Vietnamese refuge, was walking pass a small alley in Kuala Lumpur when he was pulled by a group of Myanmar refugees and forced to surrender his belongings. Hit with long sticks, he managed to escape. Pha lost Rm300....and lots of blood.
