First of all, thanks so much moderator put my picture in chapayam blog and open it for discussion. After compare all 3 pics that appear, than i realize the last one that crop by imagemaker is the best one. I like it because its not so tight and have empty space infront of dancer than parallel with eye of dancer that looking at right side. ok...lets discuss the art of crop.
kinda like the #1 and #3 pic, its nicely crop actually in a first place, but the girl hand is cropped in the frame so why not we just "cut" it away, though my eyes is totally re-direct for the red umbrella, and the background got its "bhokeh" to isolate the subject infront. and since the girl is looking right, it good to avoid dead space with Imagemaker cropping style.
this "karya" is really Saloon lah! with the combination of three main colors and the use of ambient light, cun!
Salams... Nice shot Jidin! I prefer the Imagemaker's cropped version since the overall story is kinda "attached" to the eye of the main subject...thus why I woudl like to have the "space" to where the direction of the eye is leading to. ..but IMHO Jidin's cropped version can work too, IF there is eye contact - i.e. the subject is facing the lens of the camera.
That's just my view anyway.....it is still a nice shot!

technically the last photo #3 was nicely cropped so that the girl face fall on the ro3 spot.
the #2 photo was too tight without extra space for the subject to breath...
i prefer numbur 2 actually. it focuses on the subject and there's nothing in the background anyway.
but that's just me. :-)
